FEATR Finds: Bringing the Philippines' Best Ingredients and Makers Closer to Home
Founded by Erwan Heussaff, FEATR started as a way to tell deeper stories about Filipino food. What began as recipes and travel videos evolved into documentaries, features, and long-form storytelling focused on the country's farmers, artisans, producers, cooks, and food traditions. Today, FEATR reaches millions of viewers through its videos, articles, and social media platforms, exploring everything from heirloom ingredients and indigenous foodways to regional specialties and disappearing culinary traditions.
One thing kept happening during our travels. We would meet producers making extraordinary products that were difficult to find outside their communities. A family preserving a centuries-old vinegar tradition. A farmer growing a rare heirloom rice variety. A small producer making traditional salts, coffee, cacao, honey, preserves, or pantry staples that deserved a wider audience.
People would watch the videos and ask the same question: where can I buy it?
From storytelling to supporting producers
Over the years, we built relationships with farmers, makers, cooperatives, artisans, and small food businesses throughout the Philippines. Many of these producers operate on a small scale and have limited access to national distribution. Rather than simply tell their stories, we wanted to create a way for people to support them directly.
FEATR Finds is our curated collection of products discovered through our travels, documentaries, and fieldwork. Every product has a story behind it. Every item comes from people and communities we have met, worked with, or featured.

Many of these products were discovered while filming FEATR documentaries and features throughout the country.
Why we do it
Food stories do not end when a video is published. The long-term survival of many food traditions depends on whether people continue buying, using, and supporting the products behind them. When you purchase from FEATR Finds, you are helping create demand for producers who are preserving techniques, ingredients, and food traditions that might otherwise disappear.
Our goal is simple: use storytelling to create awareness, and use commerce to help sustain the people keeping these traditions alive.
Discover the Philippines through food
The Philippines is home to thousands of ingredients, recipes, and food traditions that remain largely unknown outside their regions. FEATR Finds is our way of sharing some of those discoveries with a wider audience. Whether it is a rare regional ingredient, a traditional pantry staple, or a product made by a passionate small producer, every item in the collection represents a story worth telling and preserving.
